Eden Consulting have operated within the Oil and Gas sector for decades and at every level of management. Whilst the world looks for alternative fuel sources, we will still need oil and gas for the foreseeable future. We can assist an existing Air Operator to raise their professional bar to what is recognised to be the rotary wing Gold Standard. For offshore logistics to be added to an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC), Safety Management Systems need to be world class, Flight Data Management programmes must be implemented, Operations Manuals rewritten and strict auditing programmes from Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) must be successfully navigated. Eden Consulting are able to assist with all of these tasks, guiding management teams towards success either from start-up or as final preparation towards applying for the AOC.

Additionally, we can assist with an in-house Flight Operations audit programme that, once implemented and Corrective Actions carried out, will successfully bring an Air Operator up to the Gold standards demanded by the Independent Oil and Gas Producers. As qualified and experienced Lead Auditors, the Eden team can not only audit your Air Operation but train your Nominated Post Holders to conduct an ongoing 12 month Flight Operations audit programme which will, if observed and correctly completed, prepare you to international audit level.
Startup OPERATIONS
Eden Associates are pilots with military and commercial security backgrounds. As well as being experienced aviators we have significant experience in start-up Air Operations in remote and often challenging locations. We are able to deploy world-wide, analyse a company's aviation requirements and offer bespoke solutions which factor in the specific security requirements of that country or location. If required, Eden can also build an Air Operation from grass roots to full Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) replete with Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Response Plans, Evacuation Plans and Safety Management Systems (SMS).

We are also able to source aircrew, licensed engineers and CAA designated Nominated Post Holders to kick-start logistical air support without you having to worry about the complexities of the aviation industry. We can lease aircraft on your behalf, offer advice on purchase of quality used-aircraft or, if your project is long term, assist with procurement of exactly the right combination of new aircraft from the OEMs.

surveillance
Having aviation in support of your organisation can be complex and expensive. You need to know that these assets are being used efficiently, safely and in accordance with the highest industry standards. An Eden team or an individual will be tasked on-site to implement a 24/7 Flight Operations Surveillance Programme to ensure that this happens. Using our decades of experience in this field Eden will ensure that in-house Flight Operations and Engineering audit programmes are carried out. We will also regularly but informally ‘take the temperature’ of the organisation in areas such as morale and welfare and act as a vital communications link to you, the client, about your aviation support organisation providing you with accurate and timely feedback about any potential issues. Once audit programmes are implemented and Corrective Actions carried out, these will successfully bring your Air Operators up to an international Gold Standard.

Future energy aircraft
An electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft is a variety of VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) aircraft that uses electric power to hover, take off, and land vertically. This technology came about thanks to major advances in electric propulsion (motors, batteries, fuel cells, electronic controllers) and the growing need for new vehicles for urban air mobility (air taxi).
Most current designs are powered by batteries, although some designs use hydrogen fuel cells. Currently, batteries suffer from low specific energy (causing range and thus safety issues).

city operations
As with Air Ops we've worked on in Lagos, Kinshasa and Johannesburg, helicopter links from airport to downtown helipads can save valuable time, prevent hijack and keep nerves calm. We identify potential Landing Sites and then liaise with local Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) for approval and certification. Whether it's a dedicated 'everyday' rooftop Landing Site for your future office Headquarters or, an occasional VIP-style landing at a nearby golf club, we conduct a professional survey of each location, conduct a full Risk Assessment and obtain landing permits from the relevant CAA.
